How to retrieve MLCS options information (Cloud)
How to retrieve MLCS options information (Cloud)
If you do not have admin access to the custom field page and do not know the configuration tree, we can use the suggestions from the autocomplete mask to retrieve data like option names (label) and option IDs (value).
To activate the JQL suggestions, type the MLCS field name and an operator. This will retrieve all the occurrences of that field and the relative options selected in the issues.
In this example, the MLCS field “mlcs-cloud-example-1“ appears with 2 different set of selections and the EMPTY selection.
Once the suggestion is chosen, a JSON-like value populates the JQL query, indicating the filter applied. Now, we have access to the option names (label) and the relative IDs (value).
